This page states what Vialog publishes, what it will not publish, and how a page reaches the site. It is written down so it can be held against us.

The governing rule

We document what studies found. We do not tell anyone what to do. In practice this means a compound is never the subject of a sentence whose object is a health outcome unless that sentence names a study, a population and a citation, and is written in the past tense.

The difference is not cosmetic. “Compound X accelerates tendon healing” is a claim about the world. “In a 2011 rat model, Achilles tendon transection healing was assessed at fourteen days and the treated group showed a difference on the measured index” is a description of an experiment. Only the second is something we can actually support.

Categories we do not publish

  • Dosing protocols, titration schedules, cycle lengths, combinations, syringe conversions
  • Vendor rankings, scores, “best of” lists, or comparative seller recommendations
  • Testimonials, user-reported outcomes, before-and-after material
  • Any claim that a compound treats, cures, prevents or improves a condition
  • Discount codes or promotional material of any kind

Language

We do not use the second person for anything physiological. We avoid the vocabulary that makes anecdote sound like evidence — commonly used, typical dose, standard protocol, well tolerated, optimal, clinically proven. Where sources disagree we say so rather than averaging them into a single confident figure.

How a page reaches the site

Every page is checked against this policy before publication: identity data verified against a primary database or left blank, every numeric claim carrying species, route, sample size and source, untraced claims marked as untraced, and a scan for the prohibited categories above. Pages that cannot meet the citation standard are not published.

Cadence

We publish slowly. This category is saturated with material generated at volume, and volume is the signal that groups a site with it. A small number of pages that hold up is the entire proposition.
