What this site collects, and what it does not.

What is collected

Vialog uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which records people read. That is the only tracking on the site. It records the usual aggregate signals — pages viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, referring site, device type — and it sets cookies in your browser to recognise a returning session. It does not tell us who you are.

What is not collected

There are no accounts, no newsletter, no comment threads and no advertising or remarketing tags on any page. Nothing on this site is sold, and no data collected here is sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing. There is no form on the site that asks for personal information; the only contact route is email, and an email you send is used to answer it and for nothing else.

Requests that leave your browser

Typefaces are served from this domain rather than a font network, so reading a page makes no request to a third party for them. The analytics tag is the one exception, and links out to primary sources go where they say they go — those sites have their own policies.

Opting out

Blocking analytics is a browser setting, not a favour we grant: any content blocker, or Google’s own opt-out add-on, stops the tag from loading. Nothing on this site behaves differently when it is blocked, because nothing here depends on knowing anything about you.

Changes

If this changes — if anything is ever added that collects more than the above — it will be recorded in the corrections log on the day it changes, in the same way a changed figure is.
