Most peptide numbers online have no source. We publish the source.

Vialog is an evidence ledger for research compounds. Every figure on this site carries the species it came from, the route it was given by, the sample size, and a link to the paper. Where a widely repeated claim traces back to nothing, we publish that too — marked as what it is.

The grade describes the strongest evidence that exists for the compound — not whether it works, and not whether anyone should use it. Most of this category rests on animal data.

What we are actually useful for

There are roughly thirty peptide information sites. Nearly all of them publish a dosing table, a benefits list, and a vendor ranking. We publish none of those three, deliberately — the first two are medical advice we are not qualified to give, and the third is an advertisement wearing a lab coat.

Tracing numbers back to their source

A widely repeated line holds that GHK regulates at least 4,000 human genes. It appears in the abstract and introduction of a 2015 review, uncited. The primary gene-expression work that the same review goes on to describe reports 127 genes, across 64 tissue samples. The figure travels; the context does not. Every claim here is logged with species, route, sample size and citation — or marked No source found with a note on what we searched.

Reading a certificate of analysis

A COA showing 99% purity by HPLC tells you what fraction of the peptide content is the intended peptide. It tells you nothing about how much peptide is in the vial — that is a separate quantitative assay most certificates omit. Purity is routinely read as a guarantee of content. It is not one.
